Support and resistance bounces
What it is
Buy near levels where price has bounced before (support), sell near levels where it has turned down before (resistance).
The rules
SetupA level touched at least twice, clearly visible on a higher timeframe.EntryAt the level, after a rejection candle (long wick, engulfing) confirms buyers or sellers stepped in.StopJust beyond the level, plus a buffer (e.g. a fraction of ATR) for spread and noise.TargetThe next opposite level, or at least 1.5R.
When it fails
When the level finally breaks, often during news. The more a level is tested, the weaker it can become.
Risk profile
Tight stops mean frequent small losses when levels break.
Who it suits
Beginners: the logic is visual and the risk is clearly defined.
