Running a signal channel professionally

Expert⏱ 9 min readUpdated 31 Oct 2026
In this lesson you'll learn
  • How to write signals that can be followed, and copied, reliably
  • Managing trades after the signal
  • Building trust that lasts

Write signals that can't be misread

XAUUSD BUY 3870–3865
SL 3858
TP1 3880 · TP2 3890 · TP3 3905
  • One signal per message.
  • Symbol, direction, entry (or zone), stop and targets, every time.
  • Use standard symbols, or tell followers which names you use.
  • Avoid images only: text can be copied automatically, pictures can't.

Follow-ups as replies

Updates such as "move SL to entry", "close half" or "close now" should be sent as a reply to the original signal, so followers and copy tools know exactly which trade you mean.

Timing

Post signals before the price runs away. If price has already moved far past the entry, say so, or don't post: late followers get worse prices and blame the channel.

Trust

  • Post losing trades as clearly as winners.
  • Never edit or delete old signals.
  • Publish a monthly summary, including drawdown.
  • Use a verified results page rather than screenshots.
Common mistakes
  • Posting signals as images only.
  • Sending "close" as a new message without saying which trade.
  • Deleting losing calls.

How this works when you copy trades

Goldman Copier's Telegram signals feature reads text signals and reply follow-ups, and can publish verified channel results worked out from every signal.

Key takeaways
  • Complete text signals: symbol, side, entry, SL, TPs.
  • Follow-ups as replies to the signal they mean.
  • Transparency on losses builds trust; deletion destroys it.
