Privacy Notice

Last updated: October 2026

This explains what personal data Goldman Copier collects, why, and what you can do about it. Written to reflect what the product actually does, not generic boilerplate — if something here seems vague about a specific technical detail, ask and we'll clarify or fix the wording.

Who this covers

This notice applies to anyone who creates a Goldman Copier account, visits our website, or uses our trade-copying service — referred to here as "you." Goldman Copier ("we," "us") is the data controller for the personal data described below.

How trading credentials are protected

In plain words, with what Goldman Copier can and can't do with your accounts: Account safety.

Broker account passwords and API tokens are encrypted at rest, not stored as plain text. They are used exclusively to connect to your broker's own platform (MT4, MT5, cTrader, or TradeLocker) on your behalf, for the purpose of detecting and copying trades between accounts you've configured and, only where you have switched it on, reading that account's closed trades for your trade journal (or, for strategy providers, their published results). We do not access, view, or use these credentials for any other purpose, and we do not sell or share them with any third party except the broker or trading platform they belong to.

Third parties we share data with

Data is only shared with the specific third parties needed to actually run the service:

We do not sell personal data to anyone, and we do not use your data for advertising.

How long we keep data

Account and trade-copying history is kept for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legitimate business records (fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal compliance). If you delete your account, your trading credentials are removed immediately; historical trade-copying records may be retained in an anonymized or aggregate form. Trade journal history, tags and notes are deleted when you remove the account, or when you switch the journal off and choose to delete them.
