Goldman Copier can't withdraw, move or touch your money. It can only place and close trades, by the rules you set, on the accounts you choose to copy to. Here's exactly what we can and can't do.
| Can Goldman Copier… | |
|---|---|
| Withdraw or transfer your money | Never. None of the connections we use has any way to move money. Deposits and withdrawals stay between you and your broker. |
| See your cTrader password | Never. You log in on cTrader's own page and approve access there. We get a permission key, not your password. |
| See your MT4 or MT5 password | Never. A small program (the bridge) runs inside your own MetaTrader, on your own computer or VPS. It connects to us with its own key. |
| Use your TradeLocker password | Only to copy trades. TradeLocker has no separate permission key, so connecting a TradeLocker account means giving us its password. It's stored encrypted and used only to sign in and copy trades. Change your TradeLocker password and our access stops at once. |
| Trade on the account you copy from | No. On cTrader, your main account is connected read-only: we can see its trades, not place any. On MT4/MT5, the bridge on your main account only reports trades. On TradeLocker, the sign-in could place trades, but on your main account we only read them. |
| Trade on the accounts you copy to | Yes, that's the service: it opens, changes and closes trades there, within the limits you set. |
| Keep using an account after you remove it | No. Removing an account deletes its saved login and keys straight away. On MT4/MT5 you can also simply remove the bridge from MetaTrader. |
Stop new copies on one account or on several at once, with one click, and start again whenever you like.
For each account: a daily loss limit, a maximum lot size, a maximum number of open trades, total open size, trades per day, and an equity floor. Copying stops by itself when a limit is reached.
Copy at a fixed lot, a multiple of the original, in proportion to your balance, or by the % of your account you want to risk.
Every copied, skipped and failed trade is listed in your dashboard, with the reason.
